A fragment of a cast copper-alloy lipped terret of Iron Age to Roman date (c. 400 BC- AD 100). Description: The terret remains as one set of projections with portions of the circular-sectioned ring either side, each terminating in a worn transverse break. The projection set consists of two moulded outward-leaning semicircular wings flanked by slightly raised ridges. These are set athwart the ring.
