Uninscribed Iron Age bronze unit of Addedomaros of the Catuvellauni c. 50 BC - AD 10. Addedomaros solar flower type, (ABC 2541/BMC 2450-52). Obverse particularly unlcear but shows bust left with with beaded right angle hairline and beaded hair radiating out from the right angle. Reverse shows annulet horse stepping left with beaded main, star below, annulet in ring ahead and anulet below tail. Coin is particularly corroded and this obscures much of the detail.
Masurements: 13.51mm in diameter, 1.18mm ad 1.92g in weight.

A highly worn late iron age bronze unit possibly of Cunobelinus c. AD8-41 of the Catuvellauni and Trinovantes, reverse horse resembles type ABC2945. Obverse is highly worn and illegible. Reverse highly worn but shows rearing horse right.

A worn Late Iron Age (c. 120-100BC) potin cast bronze unit of the Cantiaci. Uncertain ABC type, Holman type E3/3-1a. Obverse: Outline head right, with subtle third line, no central pellet. Reverse: outline curved bull butitng horns right with two crescents above, possible very small central pellet . Casting sprue appears to have been intnetionally cleaned and coin is quite thin. Coin resembles ABC165, but does not have central bust pellet.
Measurements: 17.44mm in diameter, 1.08mm thick and 1.46g in weight.

A struck copper-alloy Iron Age unit of the Ambiani (Gaul), probably dating to the period c.60-25 BC. Obverse: A large duck(?) facing left, pellets in the field. Reverse: A horse right, pellets or a bird/rider above, ringed pellets in the field. Coin damaged or abraded from 10 o'clock - 5 o'clock obscure detail of both the obverse and the reverse. Cf. Heavily worn Iron Age cast copper-alloy Thurrock/ Kent Primary type potin / cast bronze unit of the Cantiaci (c.120-100 BC). ABC120, BMC 660-66, VA 1402-42. Some casting sprue remains.
Measurements: 20.39mm at widest point with sprue, 16.63mm in diameter, 3.6mm thick and 3.62g in weight.
Discussion: Thurrock / Kent Primary potins are closely linked to continental examples and a number of the sub-types classified as Thurrock or Kent Primary types may be continental rather than of the Cantiaci.
