A heavily corroded copper-alloy Iron Age unit, probably of the North Thames / Catuvellauni and Trinovantes or Kent / Cantiaci regions, dating to the period c.AD 10-40, possibly Cunobelinus Pegasus Victory left or similar type. Obverse: [...], Unclear quadruped (Pegasus?) left with head turned back. Reverse: [...], Unclear type, possible standing figure (Victory?).
This coin is very worn making close identification of both types problematic. It could be related to the Cantiaci series, e.g. ABC no. 354, although perhaps more plausibly is a slightly later issue from the North Thames …

Reverse: Horse right with large hooves, spurs on hind legs, front legs sharply bent, ring in front. The precise type for this coin is unclear in part due to the preservation of the coin. It is likely to belong in the Cantiaci and related series, probably similar to ABC nos. 258, 288 or alternatively nos. 2312-2318.
