A copper-alloy ring likely a bead of Iron Age to early-medieval date. (c.800BC-700AD). The ring is not evenly shaped being thicker in one hemisphere than the other. The band is roughly D-shaped in profile although the inner side of the ring appears to have been bevelled to some degree. The surface is dark brown with some very sparse patches of dark green surface patination. Colour is slightly silvery which may suggest a high tin alloy. An incomplete worn cast copper-alloy and iron possible link bar from an Iron Age bridle bit dating. Description: The object is a narrow hourglass shape in plan. Each half is wasted towards the terminals. The terminals are formed from slight rims proceeded by a raised collar the central point where the two halves meet also has a collar. An incomplete cast copper-alloy late Iron Age bridle fitting or strap union c.50 BC - AD 120 Description: The object is flat and in plan is formed by two double ended geometric 's-scrolls' back to. These two 'S-scrolls' are wider at the middle, where they meet. Each 'S-scroll' arm finishes smaller inwards facing curl, although only one remains mostly intact. At the widest points of each 'S-scroll' is a circular cell that has a central hole through it. A copper-alloy La Tène III type brooch dating from the 1st Century BC- 1st century AD (Hattatt 1987, 22). The brooch consists of a thin bow roughly ovoid in section which turns a near righ end down toward the spring. The spring/pin, which would orignally have been an integral continutation of the bow coiled around on itself has been broken off halfway through the second coil. An incomplete copper-alloy La Tene 1 type bow brooch dating to the 4th-3rd centuries BC. Description: The brooch remains only as the bow, which is convex at the front and flat at the rear, meaning it is D-Shaped in cross section. The front face of the bow has shallow cast integral cells decorating it, rectangular in shape and set out in pairs longintudually along the bow from end to end.
