Roman cast copper alloy simple hinged brooch with strip bow. Formed of a simple strip of metal, tapering evenly from the head to the foot. At the had the end of the strip is rolled under to create a cylinder to hold the spindle for the (missing) hinged pin which moved in a central cut out slot. The bow rises in an even arc from the head but the lower third and foot have been bent under at a 135 degree angle so the foot almost touches the head, it appears the lower part of the bow and foot were previously straight. Late Iron Age to Roman cast copper-alloy bead probably from a Type A beaded torc of 1st century BC to 2nd century AD date. The bead is cylindrical with a central oval section flanked by slight ridges then waisted sections to each side ending in collars at each end. The bead measures 15.9mm in length, 8.1mm in diameter and weighs 2.64g. Several similar beads are recorded on the database including SF-660114, SOM-16C4A7, WAW-12FD13 and NMS-CE3502.

Incomplete copper alloy Roman Strip bow brooch. The lower bow, foot and pin are all missing. The head has been formed by two wide short strips curved under to form a pair of simple parallel tubes to hold the spindle for the hinged pin with a vertical slot in the centre where the pin would have sat. The head continues seamlessly into the bow, it is stepped in three times in width between the wings and bow with even steps. The right side is slightly damaged. Iron Age cast copper alloy stud or terminal with thick glass enamel inlay. The piece has a conical head with a pair of deep grooves running across it in a cross shape leaving four triangular copper alloy sections in the quarters. The centre, where the grooves cross, is filled with bright blue glass which projects above the the copper alloy quarters and is worn on top and broken around the sides. Fragment of a late Iron Age bridle bit of either three or four part form. The piece is one side of the bit with the linking rings at each end broken. The bar is straight, oval in section and concave, thinner at the centre than the ends. At one end is the remains of a broad attachment loop for the cheek ring in the form of a strip. About a third of the loop survives but the sides are damaged and incomplete so the exact form is unclear, it is currently 12.2mm wide by 12.1mm across. The toggle has a swollen central section, oval in plan and section with flat top and bottom sides due to a large hole passing through the centre from top to bottom. Copper alloy terminal from an Iron Age torc (neck ring). The terminal is 'buffer' or 'thistle-head' shaped with an expanded circular end with slightly irregular outline and a concave outer face, behind this end is a constrction then an expansion into a large, slightly angular bead, 16.0mm in diameter, then a second constriction then an expansion in the form of a narrower rounded collar 10.3mm in diameter.
