British Iron Age silver quarter stater, uninscribed South Western (Durotriges), c. 20 BC - AD 40, VA 1249-1 / 1260-1, BMC 2766, ABC 2214ff. The coin appears to be partially base silver with some gold still present in some areas of the poorly mixed metal. The edges are are irregular and chipped.
