An incomplete cast copper alloy tankard handle dating to the Late Iron Age or early Roman period (300 BC - 200 AD).
The fragment consists of just under 50% of the handle and one attachment plate. The handle of the tankard is sub-rectangular in plan and in cross section, with rounded edges. The main handle/central panel is 14mm wide. This narrows to a short narrow section, circular in cross-section connecting the handle to the circular attachment plate. Description
All six coins are British Iron Age silver coins of the North Eastern regional series, which was produced in Lincolnshire and neighbouring counties from about 60/50 BC. Coins of this series are traditionally associated with the Corieltavi, who are known to have inhabited this region in the Roman period and perhaps before. The coins are silver 'half-units' inscribed with the name(s) VOLISIOS DVMNOVE(llaunos). They can be dated to about AD 20/30-50.

The bow of a cast copper alloy Alesia type brooch. Mackreth Alesia Group 1:c2. Rolled-under head is incomplete and wuld have held an iron axis bar. There is a globular foot knop, and a long triangular ctachplate at teh reverse. There is no decoration visible. The sub-triangular-sectioned bow is very close to Mackreth 2011, 131, pl. 89 no. 8553.
