An incomplete cast copper alloy Colchester type one-piece bow brooch dating to the Late Iron Age/Early Roman Period circa (AD 25-60). The brooch is missing the spring, the pin, the forward facing hook and the catch-plate. The brooch has the partial remains of the wings that form a T-shape and have rounded terminals. The spring is missing behind the wings and only the remains of the projecting claw and forward facing hook to hold the spring in place are present. Incomplete cast copper alloy one piece Colchester brooch of very late Iron Age to Early Roman of 1st century date. . The brooch is 'c' shaped in profile. The spring is partially intact, the catchplate is partially missing and the pin is also missing. The head of the brooch contains two wings that extend from either edge of the head. The wings are short and triangular in plan. The spring is formed from a coiled length of copper alloy wire which has been integrally cast with the body of the brooch.
