An incomplete copper alloy Nauheim or Nauheim derivative brooch, of Late Iron Age to Early Roman dating (c. 50 BC to c. AD 100). Around 25% of the brooch is present, consisting of only the bow. The rest is missing, presumed lost in antiquity. The bow is of flat section, its straight sides converging towards the foot, on the underside of which are the remnants of a catchplate. Two small vertical grooves are present as decoration at the top of the brooch. It measures 51.4 mm in length, 7.5 mm wide and 1.4 mm thick. It weighs 3.1 g.
