Copper alloy brooch fragment. Cast and pierced catch plate from a bow brooch with a long thin bow, probably of a Colchester or Colchester derivative form. The apertures are both triangular; the stub of the folded part of the plate marks its former position. Suggested date: Late Iron Age to Early Roman, AD 1-50.
Length: 28mm, Width: 14.3mm, Thickness: 3.0mm, Weight: 2.63gms.
