An incomplete copper-alloy one-piece brooch of 'Nauheim derivative' La Tene III type of the Late Iron Age or early Roman period, dating from c. AD 25 - c. AD 100.
Around 75% of the brooch is present,with the spring, bow and catch plate present. The pin is missing, presumed lost in antiquity.

An incomplete copper alloy Langton down type brooch of late Iron Age to early Roman dating (AD 25 to AD 60).
Around 25% of the brooch is present, consisting of part of the bow, the spring and part of the pin.
The head is angular, with a partial cylindrical tube containing the spring. The bow was originally rectangular, with only the top remaining. It has been decorated with several vertical ribs. A complete copper alloy probable bead, of uncertain dating, but of probable Late Iron Age dating (50 BC to 200 AD).
The ring is cylindrical and cast in one piece with a moulded exterior surface. This decoration is broadly symmetrical with two wide ribs, with a narrow rib to either side along the edge. The interior of the bead is plain and undecorated.
It has a length of 15.5mm, a diameter of 20.5 mm and 2.5 mm thick. It weighs 11.8 g.
