The brooch is of one-piece construction; at the top of the object, the remains of the pin mechanism loop twice adjacent to the head of the brooch, before curling around under the head itself before being abruptly truncated as it begins to turn downwards. An incomplete Iron Age silver unit of Atrebatic or Regnian derivation, Bean's QsT1-8 sub-type (Bean 2000, p. 70, fig. 3.8). Obverse; diademed (?) bust right with hair formed of crescents, pellet-in-ring motifs around. Reverse; horse walking right, pellet-in-ring motifs to left and right, annulets in field, spoked wheel above horse and devolved lyre/comb design below. Around 1/3 of the coin has broken away in old damage, though it is still preserved in extremely good condition.

An Iron Age uninscribed silver minim, c. 60-30 BC. Uncertain attribution; no close parallel found from 'Ancient British Coins' or the British Museum Collection. One face depicts an element with a raised line running through the diameter of the coin, with an annulet at one end and further intersecting lines throughout its length. The other face seems to depict a wolf or boar facing right with a series of small pellets running the length of the animal above, with an annulet further above; below the animal there is a large annulet connected to the ground line.

An incomplete copper-alloy Late Iron Age to Early Roman brooch of Langton Down type dating from early to mid 1st Century AD. The pin is missing, and both ends of the cylindrical cover that hold the spring are slightly damaged, otherwise it is complete. The cover is open ended and would appear to be formed from one flat sheet curved round and pinched together. The head measures 21.8 mm wide.
