Incomplete Iron Age copper alloy object: of three round-sectioned joining arms only one is complete. It curves to a globular terminal which is decorated with moulded knobs, grooves and two small blind holes. Of the other two arms one is little more than a stump (perhaps newly broken) while the other has begun to curve before the old break. On one face of the junction there are strong ribbed mouldings, some decorated with transverse grooves, and on the other a large round blind hole or socket that might once have held a boss in another material. Scuffing has removed the patinated surfa…

Incomplete Late Iron Age or Early Roman copper alloy flat-backed unidentified object. A D-sectioned rod broken at one end runs between, and bifurcates to curl partly around, two integral comma-shaped elements on both of which a crescentic cell was probably once inlaid with enamel. The break is of uncertain age due to the presence of recent scuffing. Possibly a mount or harness pendant. Extant length 28.7mm. Width 29mm. Thickness 2.9 - 5.5mm. Copper alloy unidentified Iron Age artefact. The object consists of a moulded tapering scrolled tendril that expands at its internal end into a leaf like form. A groove runs within the contour of the scroll giving a moulded profile. The horn-shaped exterior end has a central pimple with a surrounding recess and is reminiscent of an enamel cell, albeit there is no trace extant. The outside of the scroll just back from the end has a 10mm long groove flanked on either side by a circular depression. The depression is currently blind but it is possible there is a means of attachment such …
