An incomplete copper alloy Iron Age La Tene 1Ba brooch. Only the bow and the foot of the brooch survive. The bow is circular in cross-section and has a mid-arch. It narrows slightly towards the reverted foot, the outer face of which is moulded into a zoomorphic form consisting of a rounded 'head' followed by an upturned 'snout' divided into two by a transverse groove. The lower part of the foot has a deep groove across its outer face forming a small catch-plate. It survives in fair condition. Copper alloy brooch fragment, lion bow type with bull's head. Only most of the lion, bull's head and a fragment of the bow survive; much of the surface is heavily corroded.
