Two fragments of Late Iron Age to Early Roman copper alloy Colchester or Colchester Derivative brooches, the lower ends of bows, both with an incomplete catchplate. One, very badly decayed, is of flat D-shaped cross-section and appears to be decorate with a median groove. The other is plain and rounded in cross-section but with a pronounced median arris on the front face. Extant lengths 19 and 18mm. AD c.20 - c.75.

The wings are undecorated. The bow, also without decoration and of oval cross-section but slightly flattened on the reverse, is badly distorted. Incomplete Late Iron Age copper alloy brooch with a hinged pin on a double lug behind a flat, rectangular and slightly damaged head, Mackreth 2011, IA Odd 4. The parallel-sided and undecorated bow springs from the centre of the head and descends to a recent break. The pin is bent into a curve. Its straightened length is 40mm. It has a uniform, circular cross-section throughout and is coiled into a rigid cylindrical helix of just under two-and-a-half circular or near-circular turns.
