Incomplete Late Iron Age or Early Roman copper alloy flat-backed unidentified object. A D-sectioned rod broken at one end runs between, and bifurcates to curl partly around, two integral comma-shaped elements on both of which a crescentic cell was probably once inlaid with enamel. The break is of uncertain age due to the presence of recent scuffing. Possibly a mount or harness pendant. Extant length 28.7mm. Width 29mm. Thickness 2.9 - 5.5mm. Weight 10.13g. 1st century BC - 1st century AD.
