Fragment of copper-alloy bull's head mount from a bucket or similar vessel, of late Iron Age or early Roman date. Only the centre survives, with one well-preserved eye (the animal's left) made from a gradual swelling outlined with a double pointed-oval groove. The other eye is largely lost along with most of the surface, which has suffered badly from corrosion; where the surface survives it is grey and glossy, and looks like a white-metal coating. In the centre, above and between the eyes, is a circular hole 6mm in diameter. To either side are broken-off projections which may originally have been horns; enough of one survives to suggest that it may have curved gently forwards. At the top of the fragment is the stub of a broken loop; a tiny fragment of the edge of its circular hole survives. At the bottom it is broken across just below the eyes. The reverse of the head is hollow, but the horns and loop have a flat reverse.
Because of the corrosion, it is hard to tell whether the breaks are old or recent. Length from top to bottom, 33mm. Width across the horns, 37mm. Maximum thickness c. 8mm. Weight 23.37g. Compare SF-9E1B87, GLO-754F3B and BERK-A03B79.

Copper alloy mount and a copper alloy ring, probably for the suspension of a vessel. Probably Late Iron Age or Early Roman. The round-sectioned ring, complete but sprung apart at a break, is engaged with a loop at the top of the mount, below which two arms clasp a fragment of iron. The arms taper from the loop before expanding into rounded terminals, in the centre of which there is a copper alloy rivet. Some detail is obscured by corrosion. External and internal diameters of ring c.20 and c.15mm. Length and width of mount 24 and c.7mm. Thickness of iron c.3 - 4mm. No good parallel noted, but there is some resemblance to WREX-F4BC59. 1st century BC - 1st century AD.
