A copper-alloy ring, probably from a horse harness and dating from the Late Iron Age to Early Roman periods.
The ring is of solid construction and its circumference is unbroken. Nine ovate mouldings, equally spaced, decorate the oval-sectioned ring, which narrows from one side to the other. Within each of the segments between the mouldings, there are two or three lightly incised, transverse grooves.
Dimensions: diameter: 67.7mm; maximum width of band: 11.4mm; maximum thickness: 9.8mm. Weight: 71.04g.
