Unfinished, incomplete shale bracelet. A partially worked rough-out for a circular shale bracelet which probably broke during manufacture. About half remains in the form of a crescent shaped piece of shale with a convex front and flat underside. The outer edge has been smoothed and rounded, but the inner edge is still roughly chipped. Shale bead. It has a conical centrally pierced upper surface. The underside of the base is flat and undecorated. The upper surface is decorated with two concentric incised lines. One is around the base of the cone, the other is around the circular pierced hole at the apex
