One sherd of black burnished ware. Reduced grey core with patchily oxidised surfaces. Abundant rounded quartz sand temper. There is decoration on the exterior in the form of numerous randomly spaced, circular, shallow, cupped indentations. Thick walled body sherd. Heavily abraded. Identified as possibly Late Iron Age pottery by Lorraine Mepham of Wessex Archaeology. Handmade. 1st century BC to mid 1st century AD.

An incomplete copper-alloy Late Iron Age to Early Roman (AD 25-60) Colchester brooch. The remaining part of the brooch consists of an almost complete bow. The foot, catchplate, wings and pin are all missing. The spring mechanism does not survive. The bow is short and tapering The metal is very worn and corroded. The surface is pitted. The metal has a mid brownish-red colour. This brooch is similar to examples in Hattatt, 2000, pp297, Fig. 156.

A copper alloy penanular brooch wth pin missing. Bent into shape from a single piece of faceted copper with terminals bent straight outwards, and with rounded knobs at the end, each containing an incised line around their circumference. Hattatt's type B2. The ring has an accentuated thickness away from the terminals and a trapezoidal cross section. 38.55mm diameter and 5.48mm maximum thickness of ring, the terminals are 14.08mm and 13.72mm long.

A fragment from a enamelled cast copper alloy Crescentic terret of probable late Iron Age date. The fragment measures 36.8mm by 24.6mm by 12.1mm and weighs 18.44g. It consists of part of the hoop and a 10mm length of the cast-in-one copper alloy bar, which is narrowed with a circular cross-section (diameter 6.2mm). Beside the bar the hoop has a sub-circular cross-section (diameter 11.9mm). This narrows to around 6mm internally, with a flat rectangular cross-sectioned exterior, much of which has been damaged. Two rim sherds from 1st century AD large, round barrel shaped storage jars or bowls. The rims are variously described as 'flat topped' beaded rims (Sunter & Woodward, 1986, 87)or 'flattened, tapering, triangular' rims (Seager Smith, 1993, 231). The fabrics are orange in colour with buff-orange to grey core and coarse and sandy in texture. They are similar to Gussage All Saints fabric type C, thought to originate in the Wareham/Poole Harbor region in the 1st Century AD (Wainwright, 1979, 50).
