A Late Iron Age silver* uninscribed quarter stater of the Durotriges, Rudd's 'Duro Boat Bird' type (ABC 2208). This coin is similar to Van Arsdell's no. 1242-1, which is listed under his 'Durotriges, Uninscribed Coinage' and described as a 'Later Geometric Type, White Gold or Billion Quarter Stater' (1989: 296). It is similar to British Museum nos. 2734-47 (Hobbs 1996: 68). Rudd suggests a date c. 58 BC - AD 43 (2010: 110).

An incomplete Iron Age South Western uninscribed silver (billon) stater of the Durotriges of uncertain type, dating to c. 58 BC - AD 43 (Rudd, 2010; 110). It is perhaps of Rudd's 'Cranborne Chase' type, ABC 2157 (Van Arsdell 1235-1, BMC 2525-46). A small section of the flan is missing, between 4 and 7 o'clock on the obverse.

An incomplete copper alloy object from the late Iron Age to early Roman period (c. 300 BC - AD 100), missing a separate iron shank now represented by a cylindrical area of corrosion transversely across the centre on one side. The object itself is a solid copper alloy cylinder expanding to a swollen centre with a transverse raised ridge. At each terminal is a pair of circumferential transverse grooves. Part of an Iron Age copper-alloy brooch, probably of La Tene type 1B, dating from the 4th to late 3rd century BC. The arched bow is of 'D-shaped' section, its outer surfaces (but not the central area) 'pecked' to produce a scale-like effect. At the top, the bow tapers towards the now-missing spring; at the bottom, it bends at a right angle, extending into a vertical foot, which has been flattened and has a pin groove in its upper surface. An incomplete copper alloy brooch. A La Tène I type. The bow and pin were wrought in one piece, the coils of the pin being drawn from the head of the brooch. The chord is incomplete and the pin missing. There is a thick axis bar through the coils of the pin. It is oval in cross section. The bow is thick, D-sectioned and deeply arched. At the base the bow narrows into a flattened foot with a hooked catchplate to the side. A copper alloy bow brooch. A Nauheim derivative. The brooch is a single piece type, the stub of the integral pin and coils remaining at the head. The bow expands from the rectangular sectioned head into a wide tapering leaf shaped plate. This is decorated with a central longitudinal incised line and incised lines around the outer edges. A cast copper-alloy La Tène III brooch of late Iron Age to early Roman date, Circa 25-100 AD. The pin appears to have snapped off at the second spring coil - usually, these brooches have four coils - and there is a solid axis bar. The bow has treble horizontal bands above and below a collar with angled grooves. The lower treble band has a single band below.
