An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman strip bow brooch dating to the period AD 25 - 75. The pin and catchplate are missing and the brooch is bent. The brooch is in a single piece of copper alloy which has been split and rolled over at the top to create the tube for the suspension pin (which is missing). On each of the wings, there are four lines, two on the outer edge and two beside the split. A copper alloy bow brooch. A Nauheim derivative. The brooch is a single piece type, the stub of the integral pin and coils remaining at the head. The bow expands from the rectangular sectioned head into a wide tapering leaf shaped plate. This is decorated with a central longitudinal incised line and incised lines around the outer edges. On the narrowed leg of the bow are two transverse incised lines.The foot is pointed with a curving hooked catchplate behind. The foot and catchplate have been bent into a right angle to the right. The catchplate is not pierced.

An incomplete copper alloy brooch. A La Tène I type. The bow and pin were wrought in one piece, the coils of the pin being drawn from the head of the brooch. The chord is incomplete and the pin missing. There is a thick axis bar through the coils of the pin. It is oval in cross section. The bow is thick, D-sectioned and deeply arched. At the base the bow narrows into a flattened foot with a hooked catchplate to the side. There is no return of the foot towards the bow as is often seen on this type of brooch, but this is likely to have been broken off.

Part of an Iron Age copper-alloy brooch, probably of La Tene type 1B, dating from the 4th to late 3rd century BC.
The arched bow is of 'D-shaped' section, its outer surfaces (but not the central area) 'pecked' to produce a scale-like effect. At the top, the bow tapers towards the now-missing spring; at the bottom, it bends at a right angle, extending into a vertical foot, which has been flattened and has a pin groove in its upper surface.

An incomplete late Iron Age to early Roman copper-alloy strap union of Taylor and Brailsford's (1985, 247) Type 1. The fitting comprises two circular loops connected together. The loops are plano-convex with flat reverses and off centre perforations set towards the point at which they join and recessed on the front. To each side of each loop is the broken off ends of the terminals of a straight bar which would have run between them to accommodate the straps.

A single base metal Iron Age coin was found in October 2012 during the production of the television programme "Hoard Hunters" (an ITV studios production for the History Channel). The coin was recovered with the use of a metal-detector at a site thought by the finder to be that of an earlier find of Iron Age coins declared Treasure in 2004 (Treasure number 2004 T347).

A copper alloy socketed axe. The axe is gently flaring to the curved cutting edge. One face has clear decoration of a fine central rib stopping around 30mm above the cutting edge. There are also ridges along the faceted sides of the axe. The casting ridges are visible.
