A complete copper alloy Romano-British cosmetic pestle, from a small portable grinding set. A cresent-shaped rod with a large, integral central loop projecting from the upper edge of its concave side. The loop is U-shaped with a central circular aperture and is slightly inset to the rod, without a neck or shank.
