A copper-alloy Late Iron Age to Early Roman strap fitting, strap-union or belt-link dating to 300 BC - AD 100. From the rear the object has a solid 8-shaped design, with a bar on either side around which leather straps would have been attached. The 8-shape is comprised of two conjoined plano-convex discs of 19.0mm diameter, although through being compressed together they each measure 17.9mm in length from the join to the outer edge. A copper alloy ring of probably Iron Age to Roman date (c. 300 BC - AD 100). The ring is circular in cross-section. It is decorated by a finely executed raised wavy line within a recessed median band. The inner surface of the band is smooth and shows signs of wear whcih may indicate where is has rubbed on a strap. The ring has a smooth dark green patina with large areas of pitting which are light green and slightly powdery. A cast copper alloy Langton Down brooch of early Roman date. The brooch measures 40mm in length and weighs 5.5g. The measurement across the incomplete cylindrical wings is 16.6mm. They conceal the remains of the spring for the missing pin. The bow has a thin rectangular cross section which is consistent throughout its length. On the front is engraved decoration comprising a vertical dotted double linear border beside each edge with a wavy line and spirals within. On the back are the remains of the perforated catchplate. An Iron Age copper alloy mount, possibly from a tankard with zoomorphic decoration dating to 100 BC to 80 AD. The mount is a probably cast sheet of copper alloy, semi circular in plan and curved in cross section such that the two corners of the semi-circular are further back than the centre. Copper alloy terminal from an Iron Age torc (neck ring). The terminal is 'buffer' or 'thistle-head' shaped with an expanded circular end with slightly irregular outline and a concave outer face, behind this end is a constrction then an expansion into a large, slightly angular bead, 16.0mm in diameter, then a second constriction then an expansion in the form of a narrower rounded collar 10.3mm in diameter. At the inner side of the collar is a broken area where a slightly oval cross-sectioned bar continued, it is 4.2mm by 4.8mm at the break. The end is covered by a reddish corrosion but…
