A copper alloy miniature spear head, probably dating to the Iron Age to early Roman period. It is broadly leaf shaped with a long pointed tip, it continues to the stem which has an oval sectioned socket which appears hollow (although partially filled with soil). Date: Dimensions:57.4mm x 9.90mm x 2.11mm Weight: 3.93g. There are database records for similar objects, including LIN-B052A0 where Adam Daubney notes that: Miniature spears are difficult to date although they are thought to range from circa 400BC to the mid-late 1st century AD.

An incomplete cosmetic mortar. An end-looped type with a knobbed terminal. The loop is incomplete. The elliptical bow is wider at the looped end, tapering and curving up to the pointed knop at the terminal. It is hollowed on the upper face and angled at the lower giving it a pointed-vacked C-shaped cross section. There is slightly diagonal groove and ridge decoration on both sides at the looped end, running from the lower to upper faces. An incomplete copper alloy Langton Down brooch. The short wings are complete, open to the the rear and at either end. The wings are filled with the fused remnants of the copper alloy spring for the missing pin.There is a copper alloy axis bar visible at the ends of the wings. The head of the bow is arched upwards from the wings, curving downwards and tapering towards the break. The bow is decorated with moulded longitudinal ridges. It is oval in cross section. A fragment of a cast copper alloy La Tene I brooch dating to c.500 to 300 BC. The object is a section of the bow, which tapers at both ends, one end into the stub of an integral spring. It has a sub-circular cross-section and arches in the middle. The foot is missing. Date: Iron Age - La Tène I - 4th to 3rd century BC. The coins consist of 11 South Western British uninscribed silver staters commonly associated with the Durotriges, a people thought to have inhabited an area covering the modern county of Dorset, parts of Somerset, Wiltshire and Hampshire and the Isle of Wight during the late Iron Age. The silver coins appear to be all of the type ABC 2169 / VA 1235-1 / BMC 2555ff produced from about 60/50 BC to the late first century BC.
