An unidentified copper alloy object, probably of Early Iron Age date. The object is irregular in plan, consisting of a central triangular element, oval in cross section and with a concave socket at its mouth. There is a pronounced V-shaped indentation on either face at the opening. From either edge of the central socketed-element expands a C-shaped projection. The lower arms of these projections are plano-convex in cross section, with the interior face flat and the exterior face cast into a series of transverse ribs, and taper to a point.
