A copper alloy Roman Provincial coin of Diadumenian (AD 217-8) , minted in Byzantium, Thrace. Obverse, cuirassed bust of emperor right with Greek inscription, ΔΙΑΔΟVΜΕΝΙΑΝΟC Κ, transliterated as.DIADOUMENIANOS C. Reverse, a bunch of grapes hanging, ΒΥΖΑΝΤΙΩΝ surrounding. Ref. SNG Copenhagan Thrace cf. 517 (reverse for coin of Caracalla). This coin is apparently unpublished, but is the second specimen recorded on the PAS Database - see KENT-FE0F67. The previous find was acquired by the British Museum:2011,4172.1.
