A folded and crumpled discoid plate, plain on the back which is the exposed part, but with a series of flattened twisted wire loops of length 3mm passing beneath larger bosses on its display side, the latter features perhaps formed as hemispherical half-beads equipped with channels to permit the passage of the strands. An ingot of probable gold and silver. It is broken, at the break is a 'nick' which extends into the ingot for approx. 2mm and then the break occurs under this. The other end, which is an original terminal, is slightly bulbous. It is a pale gold colour and may be an alloy rather then a pure metal.
