Early Medieval copper alloy probable mount or possible button. It is square in plan, and 'T' shaped in section and profile. The inner face is undecorated with a roughly central projecting shank. The tip of the shank may be lost and could once have had a perforation. The outer face is decorated with a single central square flanked on each corner with L-shaped cells. This decorative motif can be closely paralleled in Wales with two examples of lead alloy weights with copper alloy insets from Anglesey, one of which was found on the Early Medieval enclosed settlement near Llanbedrg…

Late Early to early Medieval copper alloy object, probably a strap mount. It is an even armed cruciform in plan. One of arm terminals is now missing. The object has a central circular perforation surrounded by four other circular perforations. There are further circular perforations at the base of the arms. Each arm ends in a perforated rounded terminal. These terminal perforations are quite a bit smaller than the others and were probably used for attaching the object to a strap or harness. Roman to Medieval copper alloy mount. It is square in plan and sub rectangular in section. It is decorated in relief with a flower that consists of four lentoid petals extending to each corner from a central boss. The central pellet retains the original black finish. On one edge there is a raised border but this is either absent or lost from the other three edges. The reverse face is still fully coated in black but is otherwise undecorated although there are remnants of a lip, up to 1.5mm high, on three edges. Possibly an Early Medieval to Medieval copper alloy mount or vessel rim sherd or handle. The concave, probably inner, face is undecorated. The convex face has decorated with an incised repeating pattern of a cross within lozenge shaped interlace bounded by the remains of straight borders. The lower border is broken by the bottoms of the interlace. Dates to between c600 & c1500 AD, most likely seventh to ninth century. The length is 46mm, width 11mm, thickness 1.5mm, and the weight 4g.
