An almost complete copper-alloy Anglo-Saxon wrist clasp of Hines form 18d. The object consists of a rectangular bar with flattened row of four conjoined projections that give it a castellated appearance. It is slightly curved in profile. The bar has multiple moulded transverse grooves along the front/inner edge, separated from the attachment edge by two vertical parallel grooves. A cast copper alloy Anglo-Saxon sleeve clasp dating to the 6th century AD. The clasp is of Hines form B18b (Hines, 1993, p59). The clasp is the 'catch-piece', having an incomplete small integral rearward hook on the underside. The object is sub-rectangular in plan. The bar is decorated with five deep transverse groves interspersed with smaller grooves. In the centre of the bar is a projecting rectangular tab on the rear of which is the hook. Cast copper alloy single sleeve clasp dating to the Early Medieval period. The object can be classified as Hines Class C1. The object is sub-oval in plan. Each end of the object is decorated with an eagle's head. The eagles have curved beaks, raised oval eyes and grooved curved bodies. Between the two eagle heads are two circular eyes. Each eye is within a shield shaped motif and surrounded by a groove. Below the eyes is a raised circle with a central circular depression. Cast copper alloy wrist-clasp, probably of Hines form B20, dating to the early Anglo-Saxon period. The object is sub-rectangular in plan and rectangular in cross-section. It is decorated with a vertical ridge and groove, to the side of which is a series of transverse lines. On the opposite side of the plate are two circular perforations. Each edge of the clasp is broken. It has a mid-green patina. A similar example is no.29.25, p179, MacGregor and Bolick, (1993).

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Early Medieval Anglo-Saxon sleeve clasp. It comprises of a cast rectangular plate and a raised bar. The bar is decorated with a series of transverse grooves. The plate consists of three broken projections alternating with two circular perforations. It has a mid-green patina. The plate and bar cast in one piece suggests that this is a Hines Form B20, although with a fragmentary rear edge (which in a B20 should be shaped) it is not possible to be certain.
