A fragment of a copper-alloy pair of Middle Anglo-Saxon tweezers dating to the Early Medieval period, c. AD 700-900. The fragment comprises one arm of a pair. The arm is flat and triangular in plan. The upper surface of the arm is decorated with a marginal pattern of incised dots and a further central line of incised dots, creating to right angled triangles. Some of the incised dots pierce the arm completely. At the apex of the triangular arm, there is a small D-sectioned extension which is slightly bent at the break, all that remains of the upper part of the tweezers.

A well-preserved pair of copper-alloy tweezers dating to the Early Medieval period, c. AD 700 to 850. The tweezers are formed from a single piece of copper-alloy which has been bent at a mid-point to create two arms. Each arm comprises a rectangular-section strip which widens and flattens to form triangular plates, the ends of which have been angled inwards to assist with grip. A fragment of the arm from a pair of copper-alloy tweezers dating to the Early Medieval period, c. AD 700 to 850. The arm is rectangular in section and approximately trapezoidal in plan, with a slightly curved terminal. The arm is broken at its apex and bent back on itself. The outer surface of the arm is decorated with marginal grooves enclosing two stamped ring-and-dot motifs positioned centrally and a further three ring-and-dot motifs at the terminal.
