A cast copper alloy strap end, dating to the medieval period. The strap end is rectangular with a rounded terminal. At the attachment end, it splits into two to accomodate the leather or fabric strap. Two rivet holes are visible on the underside of the plate to secure the strap end. The upper surface of the strap end is decorated with a central vertical moulded rib and marginal moulded ribs. The ends of the ribs protrude slightly beyond the body of the strap end. The strap end measures 27mm in length, 16mm in width, 5mm in thickness. It weighs 6.2g.

Acast copper-alloy fragment of a cruciform brooch of Anglo-Saxon tradition, dating c. 475-600.
The fragment comprises part of the head of the brooch. The head is very corroded and only a small part of the original surface survives, bearing two stamped ring-and-dot in a vertical line, almost certainly a border decoration of a central panel, identifying the brooch as cruciform.
On the underside of the head, the partial remains of two semi-circular lugs to hold the axis pin are visible. The iron axis pin, although very corroded is in situ. The fragment measures 13mm in length and 2…

A fragment of the head plate and part of the bow of an Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch dating to the sixth century AD. The head plate is rectangular. The central panel is decorated with a central stamped ring and dot motif. The wings are bounded by a vertical border of stamped circles. Where the wing and side knob meet, there is a further row of stamped circles.
