Early Medieval copper alloy brooch fragment, 34mm long 12mm wide and 4mm thick with a weight of 5.72g. The object is rectangular in form and cross section and forms the upper part of the bow of a cruciform or small long brooch and consists of one half which is plain and has a bowed form with a rounded upper surface. The second half is flat and rectangular with slight traces of probable lappets to each side. The reverse of this houses a centrally placed, sub rectangular catch plate.

Early Medieval to Medieval Stamford ware sherd, 49mm long, 46mm wide and 8mm thick with a weight of 23g. The object is sub rectangular in form and cross section. It has a pale cream/brown patina and finely grained fabric with small grit inclusions. Its outer surface has trace sof pale greenish translucent glaze. It forms part of the base and side of a vessel. Its underside in concave and its sides shows linear ridges internally.

Early medieval lead alloy spindle whorl, 22mm in diameter, 5mm deep and weighing 26.95grams. The whorl has a circular form and a D shaped cross section, with a central hole 8mm in diameter. It is decorate don its upper surface with a sereis of narrow ridges running outwards from the centre. The form and size of the central hole suggest an early Medeival date. It matches Walton Rogers form A2, which she dates to 700-1100AD

Late Early Medieval copper alloy buckle, 19mm long, 16mm wide and 4mm thick with a weight of 3.97grams. The buckle is D shaped and has a sub-circular cross section. It is in poor condition but consists of a plain band which terminates with animal heads resting on a recessed integral pin bar. The animal heads are distinctively 'Scandinavian' in character with long snouts, rounded ears and traces of almond shaped eyes. Other examples of this type can be seen at NLM-3D5F37 LVPL-3B6EFF YORYM-971456 all are very indistinct in their casting.

The object is circular in form and sub-rectangular in cross section with a central circular hole of 6mm diameter. The object is decorate don one face with a raised voided cross motif with diagonal depressions in between. The reverse is plain. The decoration is unusual but it's form fits Walton Rogers form B, dated to the 10th C onwards.

It has a rounded lower end which shows traces of a zoomorphic terminal with rounded ears. There are two linear transverse depressions either side of the ears along its sides, possibly a third on one side. It also has a hint of two or three slightly diagonal raised lines running across the centre of the upper surface, though because of the wear this is hard to confirm. Early Medieval copper alloy bowl fragments. A scatter of copper-alloy fragments from a copper alloy 'Coptic' bowl was found surrounding the gold buckle's find spot. The fragments comprise two large pieces from the base and one smaller non-joining piece, all with remnants of the openwork footring; four possible rim pieces; one plain piece from the body; one fragment of openwork footring; two rim pieces with integral circular loops and ridges matching the four smaller rim fragments; and one detached loop. A plain gold buckle of rectangular cross-section, comprising a hollow triangular plate and an oval loop. The buckle plate consists of a flat upper plate which is soldered to side walls, creating a box-like hollow-backed element. The apex of the triangular box expands into a circular lobe; there are also two curved projections, each slightly smaller than the apex lobe, along the long sides near to the wider end. Early medieval copper alloy mount, 28mm long, 25mm wide and 2.5 mm thick with a weight of 9grams. The object is rectangular in form and cross section and has a raised double linear border. There is a central raised rectangle c.5mm in width. This is surrounded by Salin style I decoration, possibly showing two beasts? The surface is encrusted but may have originally been gilded. The reverse is plain except for a small central circular rivet hole, which would have held an additional central piece on to the front. An early medieval silver and gilt pyramidal mount. The object is rectangular in form and triangular in cross section with a flat rectangular apex, recessed for a glass or gemstone setting that is now lost. Each face is decorated with three triangular depressions which are gilded inside. The edges of these are bordered with niello, creating a Y-shape between them. A further niello border runs around the edge of each face. The underside of the object is hollow and slightly corroded, with a scar where a transverse attachment bar would have been fixed.

The object consists of a sub- circular plate with three circular fixing holes arranged in a triangle near the upper part of the object. It has a small circular sectioned shaft with a hooked end, emerging from its lower edge. The surface of the object is decorated with a series of incised concentric circles, which centre on the lower of the three holes. The object is very similar to SF-A986B0 which is dated 800-1100.

Early Medieval gold pendant set with a red stone, presumably a garnet. The pendant is in the form of a stepped triangle, with three 'steps' on each side and a horizontal base. It has a rectangular cross section with a slightly concave reverse. The pendant is intact but part of the gold frame has been torn and is now bent away from the stone setting.
