An incomplete copper-alloy Early Medieval hooked tag, dating to AD 800-1200. Is consists of a circular plate with two incomplete rounded knops drilled for attachment on its upper edge; the opposite edge has a complete hook. The front face of the plate has a worn incised saltire cross The surfaces are very worn. It belongs to Read's series D (2008, pp. 27-29).

An Early Medieval gilt copper alloy hooked tag. The body is flat, circular and decorated with a central pellet surrounded by eight segments forming four symmetrical pelta-shaped panels. Two small loops extend from the top. A rearward hook extends from a narrow collar at the base. This form of hooked tag dates to the 9th-11th centuries.

A Middle Saxon copper alloy hooked tag. The tag has a flat circular body with an integral hook below, and two incomplete loops above. The body is decorated with a perimeter band of diagonal lines. This encloses a large 'catherine wheel' incised motif comprising curved radiating lines, bounded by an outer circle.

An Anglo-Saxon silvered or tinned copper-alloy hooked tag dating to the sixth century. The hooked tag has an openwork circular body comprising a a heart-shaped central motif in reserve metal, and three arms radiating from it. The lower half is missing, but there appears not to have been a fourth arm. The hook curves rearwards.

Fragment of a Middle to Late Saxon silver hooked tag. The shape of the surviving fragment indicates that it was likely to have been triangular in form, although the lower half (including the hook) is now missing to a clean, sharp slightly diagonal break. At the other end are two lobes pierced with circular holes. One of the lobes and its hole is now lost. The hooked tag is undecorated on both sides, and shows signs of significant wear.

Fragment of a Middle Saxon silver hooked tag. The tag is circular, flat, and decorated on both sides with a raised pellet in the centre, surrounded by five evenly spaced rectangular 'arms'. Two of the arms are missing owing to damage. Two incomplete arms project from the top that probably would have formed two small loops. The hook is missing.

A possible Middle Saxon hooked tag. It is is formed of a single piece of copper-alloy wire bent four times at 180 degrees to form a repeated 'S'-shaped' motif. Both terminals are incomplete; one is broken as it appears to turn againt to 180 degree; the other is also twisted two 180 degrees, but upwards instead of to the side.
