A cast copper-alloy Anglo-Saxon sleeve clasp, dating to c.AD 475 - 575. The clasp is the hookpiece, having an externally protruding loop. The loop is rectangular in plan. The plate is also rectangular in plan and divided into two areas, a raised area and a flat area, this terminates in a scalloped edge (comprised of four scallops). The raised area is adjacent to the loop and comprises three raised rectangular panels divided by moulded horizontal ridges. The flat area contains two circular holes.

The stirrup is sub-triangular in plan and L-shaped in section.The front of the stirrup is decorated possibly with a single interlaced beast whose head is facing downwards to the left. The beast interlaces with lobe-ended tendrils. In each corner of the stirrup is a circular hole, the lower left of which is damaged and elongated. The reverse is undecorated and a small lip remains at the base.

An Early Medieval copper-alloy mount, dating to c.AD 500 - 600. The mount is rectangular in plan with a raised boarder along three edges, the fourth end appears to terminate in an old break.
The front has a chip-carved zoomorphic motif of Salin style I. The interlaced ornament presents an elongated beast, with a body indicated by two sinuous curves of triple-ridged ribbon and with two curved limbs. No eye is apparent. The rear of the mount is undecorated but evidence of soldering is visible in two places.

The vessel has been formed in two pieces with a flat circular base, now very worn and patched, attached to shallow vertical sides which have been soldered on to the base. An incomplete early medieval gold pommel cap with beaded wire filigree ornament, mounted onto a copper-alloy core. The pommel is of elongated or ‘cocked-hat’ form, with one end missing. The copper-alloy core, visible from underneath, appears to be suffering badly with a blue corrosion.

Description: An incomplete Early Medieval (Viking) silver Thor's hammer pendant, dating to c.AD 850 - 1050.
The pendant is in the form of a double-headed hammer with an elongated pentagonal head with concave sides. The head is rectangular in cross-section. From the centre of the head extends an integral rectangular-sectioned shaft which flares slightly at the end to form the now incomplete suspension loop. Both faces are decorated with punched motifs resembling annulets or triangles.

A late Saxon, cast, copper-alloy disc brooch, dating to AD 850 - 1066. The brooch is circular in plan and decorated with a backward-looking beast within a border of 28 pellets. The beast has an upturned tail and open jaws. It has no mane as many other brooches of this type do. The beast has four legs which blend into the border pellets. On the reverse are the incomplete integrally-moulded pin-lug and catch-plate. The pin-lug is positioned directly behind the beast's breast. The catch-plate is intact and curls upwards with the open side facing up.

A medieval cast copper-alloy possible strap fitting, dating to c. AD 1000 - 1100. The object is a ring with a thick hoop and convex crude/miscast quatrefoil bezel, flat compared to the rest of the curved hoop. The quatrefoil head is perpendicular to the hoop. It is decorated with four triangular grooves arranged in saltire, but not meeting at the centre. The quatrefoil thus created has slightly longer elements in line with the hoop than those perpendicular to it. The terminals of each part of the quatrefoil are somewhat angled. The artefact is now a red-brown colour.
