Knob from an Early Medieval cruciform brooch of Aberg's Group II-IV. The knob has a flat-backed, D shaped section with a perforation down its length. This contains traces of the iron pin that secured the spring. It appears that the knob was hollow-backed and now full of rust. Across the flat end of the knob is a square sectioned groove which would have engaged with the head plate of the brooch. Early Medieval girdle hanger made from copper alloy. Only the lower part survives, this has the characteristic E shape, one side of which survives. Corrosion makes it difficult to see the decoration but a row of small triangular stamp impressions runs across the bottom of the hanger and probably up the central shaft. It appears that there were two finely incised lines along the outer edge of the surviving lateral element. Length 25.0, Width 27.8, Thickness 2.0mm, Mass 3.75g.

Early Medieval pendant made from a Roman coin, this is very worn but the rounded form of the head on the obverse suggest that it was a nummus of fourth century date. The reverse appears to show a standing figure. Through the coin are two 1.3mm diameter holes which are located behind the head on the obverse. Diameter 20.4mm, Thickness 1.2mm, Mass 1.59g.

Early Medieval sleeve clasp of Hines Form B7 (Hines 1993, p. 39-43). Fragment made from thin sheet copper alloy with raised decoration in the form of small bosses, and two rows of 0.5mm diameter, annular stamp impressions along the centre line of the clasp and across one side. These rows are linked by further stamps. Two 2.7mm diameter holes present through which the clasp was sewn to the cuff of the garment. Length 21.8mm, Width 12.6mm, Thickness 0.3mm, Mass 0.50g.

This is decorated with two lightly incised lines linked by a row of short, longitudinal lines. These short lines also appear to have extended along the length of the bow but were worn away. The lower part of the hanger has a flat section, (8.7 x 2.2mm) and is decorated with two rows of crescentic stamp impressions. The suspension loop is oval and through it is a 3.2mm diameter hole. Early Medieval, cast copper alloy, cruciform brooch of Aberg's Group I, only the the head plate survives with the integrally cast terminal knob. This has the round section characteristic of Group I, but has a rounded rectangular section rather than being cylindrical. There is a deep groove around its mid-point. The head-plate wings are slightly down-turned, the lateral knobs are missing. On the underside of the fragment is a single perforated lug by which the pin-spring was attached. This is covered by iron corrosion products. Length 32.2mm, Width 29.4, Thickness 2.1mm, Mass 13.04g.

These consist of a central reserved lozenge around which is a truncated band which appears to contain stamp impressions (corrosion makes interpretation difficult). On one face are five deeply incised ring and dot motifs, the outer four set within 6mm diameter recessed circles, the central ring and dot is smaller and set within a 4.5mm dimeter circle.
