The ring consists of a gold wire, circular in section, which has been formed into a loop, now bent out of shape. The wire tapers towards its terminal ends. An incomplete copper-alloy pin of middle Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) date, c.AD 700 - 900. The head is cylindrical in the centre, creating a median band, with a pointed conical top and base. At the base of the head is a single banded collar from which a circular cross-sectioned shaft extends terminating in a worn break. The pin shaft is bent just below where it meets the head. Abundant coarse inclusions are present throughout the fragments. One fragment is 27.0mm in length, 20.1mm in width, 6.0mm in thickness, and weighs 3.4g. The other fragment is 21.1mm in length, 17.2mm in width, 6.1mm thick, and weighs 2.1g. Similar objects have been recorded on the database as YORYM-B63334, YORYM-66D429, and YORYM-F23837.
