An early-medieval silver penny of Offa of Mercia (757-96), Light Coinage (c.765-92), mint: Canterbury, moneyer: Udd, obverse: Chick 103 (North 261), reverse: Chick 87-8 (North 200). Refs: Chick 2010: pl. 14 (obverse), pl. 12 (reverse).
The coin is somewhat worn, particularly on the reverse, of which only the central portion is visible, with the outer esges of the coin face having worn away.
