Incomplete Early Saxon copper alloy small-long brooch of Leeds 1945 square-head (panelled) type dating to the period c. AD 480 - 500. The head is rectangular with a raised rectangular panel at the centre of the head. The panel to each side is decorated by a border of punched crescents. The central panel forms facets at the top of the arched bow which exhibits a slight central mid-rib and terminates in an old break. On the reverse of the head is a single pierced lug housing the corroded remains of the iron spring. The lower bow, foot and catchplate are missing.

Late Saxon - medieval copper alloy single loop buckle dating to the period c. AD 1000 - 1100. D-shaped frame with narrowed strap bar, knops at the shoulders and a trilobed projection on the outer edge. The front is decorated with two engraved grooves running down each side, the tips of which overlap at the trilobed projection.

Fragment of an Early Saxon cruciform brooch of uncertain type dating to the period c. AD 420 - 500. Only the bow remains. It commences in a moulded ridge engraved with horizontal grooves and then tapers into the arched bow. At the bottom of the bow the junction between the bow and footplate forms a moulded ridge engraved with horizontal grooves. The remains of the footplate have old breaks on three edges. The stub of the catchplate projects from the underside.

Fragment of a copper alloy Early Saxon cruciform brooch, probably Martin Type 1, dating to the period c. AD 420 - 500. It commences in an old break across the bow which arches downwards and bends at a right-angle into the foot. The junction between the catchplate and foot is a moulded triple collar with bands of engraved grooves in between. Below is the moulded zoomorphic foot in the form of an animal's head. It exhibits bulbous eyes set either side of a long triangular-sectioned head and bulbous flared nostrils with a rounded snout.

It comprises a central circular boss with projecting conical goad and A D-sectioned arm curving to either side. One arm terminates in a relatively recent break; the other terminates in a D-shaped loop with a circular perforation directly behind.
There is a small corpus of Middle - Late Saxon prick spurs recorded from Norfolk including an example from Swanton Morley (HER 56146).

Copper alloy sword pommel dating to c. AD 900 - 1100. Broadly triangular in shape and of lobed form with a hollow interior. The base curves upwards towards the outer edges. The pommel is divided into five lobes, increasing in size from the edges to the centre, each separated from its neighbour by a groove. The central lobe has an oval shaped aperture, through which the tang of the sword would have passed.

Similar to WMID-019567 which notes a parallel in Nigel Mills 'Saxon & Viking Artefacts', 2001, page 101, Ref no V281. This illustrated example was found around South Humberside and has been dated to the 10th century.

Incomplete Late Saxon - medieval probable strap end dating to the period c. AD 900 - 1100. Only a small fragment survives, with heavily worn transverse breaks on both sides. The asymmetrical relief decoration, present on the front face only, shows foliage inhabited by (part of) a stylised animal within a frame of short transverse grooves on the sides and of oblique grooves in a cable pattern across the edge. Over all is a series of randomly applied punched annulets. Probably of Thomas Class E, Type uncertain.
