The buckle is cast. The buckle is a double looped oval shape with a pointed zoomorphic terminal, probably a birds head. The terminal is crude and in the form of a forward facing animal head. A roughly spherical bead made from what appear to be natural chalk fossils, perhaps similar to coral. The bead has a roughly centrally drilled hole. Similar beads from the same site are SUR-D40483. An incomplete Early Medieval pair of copper-alloy tweezers dating from AD 410 - 700. The remaining part consists of one arm from a set of tweezers. The arm was found in one piece but was broken into two parts after discovery. The arm is an elongated trapezoid in plan and has decoration on the upper portion of the outer face, consisting of a series of groups of transverse incised grooves: seven, three, five and four, between the last two group is a saltire cross. A complete Early Medieval (Middle Saxon) copper-alloy key dating AD 800-1050. The key has an openwork circular wheel shaped bow, consisting of eight radiating spokes which continue thought the frame terminating in knops on the outside edge of the frame. An incomplete Early Medieval copper alloy stirrup-strap mount of Williams Class C Type 2 dating from 11th -12th century. The mount is decorated with a lightly punched union knot linear design. A similar design is illustrated in Williams (1997:30 fig.21 no. 29). The remains of two iron rivets survive.
