A silver Early Medieval Sceatta coin, a Continental Intermediate Sceat, Series X (type 31) dating from c.AD 710-60, probably minted in Ribe, Denmark. Seaby 843. Obverse: Wodan facing forwards with a chevron beard and a cross on each cheek Reverse: Thin dragon right within border of pellets. An Early Medieval (early Anglo Saxon) copper alloy pair of tweezers dating 5th - 7th century. The object is formed by bending a sheet of copper alloy creating a sprung loop and at the ends curving the lower edges inwards. The grip is straight and tapers to a wide tip, making them triangular in shape. The tweezers are undecorated There are similar examples on the PAS database: LIN-A12FE3 and LIN-A29AD8.
