An incomplete gilt-silver pyramidal sword scabbard mount of early-medieval (Anglo-Saxon) date. Description: The pyramid mount is decorated on all four sides with incised double Y-shaped lines forming three triangular panels. Within each panel is a recessed triangular impression, the lower two point up and the upper one of each point down. On the apex of the mount is a square cell that would have likely held a garnet or other decorative insert, now missing. Obverse: Quilled crescent right, triangular head enclosing pellet eye, pellets and cross pommée below, [body rests on wheel composed of pellets-in-annulets]. Reverse: Degenerate beaded standard containing pellets in corners and central pellet-in-annulet. Symbols and/or pseudo-lettters in margins. Measurements: 11.69mm diameter, 2.43mm thick and 1.16g in weight.

A complete cast copper-alloy stirrup strap-mount of the late early-medieval period, dating from c. AD 1000 - AD1150. It finds its closest parallels in Williams's Class A, Type 1 mounts, with typical pentagonal form and unadorned. An incomplete copper-alloy pin Middle Anglo-Saxon date c.AD 8th or 9th century. Description: The head is a faceted polyhedron essentially a rectangular cube, with the corners cut off; there is a ring-and-dot motif on each of the four side faces, and from which extends an incomplete circular-section shank c. 22mm in length. The pin is a dark grey green with some areas of lighter green copper-alloy patination. Measurements: The total surviving length of the pin is 29mm, 5mm wide and thick at the head and it weighs 1.54g.
