A probable Middle or Late Anglo-Saxon hooked tag made from copper alloy. The tag has a flat, broadly circular plate with a round ended projecting lobe to one side and opposite it a separate hook. The projection has a slightly irregular outer edge which is bent backwards slightly and is pierced with a slightly off centre circular hole, for attaching the tag to clothing, made by drilling from both sides. Treasure case 2012 T149. Description: Middle or Late Anglo-Saxon hooked tag made from gilded silver. The tag has a flat, broadly circular plate with eight semi-circular lobes forming a scalloped edge; some of the lobes have rather angular corners rather than being smoothly curved. At the top, three of the lobes are pierced by circular attachment holes for attachment, and opposite them at the bottom is an integral complete sharp backward-curving hook. Treasure case 2012 T146. Description: Gilded silver hooked tag with zoomorphic decoration. The tag has a flat oval plate with two projecting flat semi-circular lugs at the top, and opposite them an integral backward-turned hook. The lugs are pierced with circular holes, and slight raised rims around the holes on the reverse suggest they were drilled into the plate from the front. Early Medieval cast copper alloy hooked tag. The tag has a plain triangular plate the lower point of which is extended into a backward facing hook with a sharp point. There is no division between the plate and hook. At the wide upper end are two circular attachment holes, one near each corner. The upper edge is cusped with two wide cusps above the attachment holes flanked by smaller lobes and a third small lobe in the centre between them.
