An fragment of Middle Early-Medieval (720-900) copper alloy polyhedral-headed pin, consisting of the head and top of the shaft only. It measures 14.73mm in length and weighs 1.4g. The head (8.25x5.95x5.77mm) is in the shape of a cube with the corners cut off, and each cube face is decorated with a ring-and-dot stamp. Some facets, particularly towards the top of the pin, are badly worn and/ or corroded. There is apparently no collar below the head. The shaft is circular in cross-section and measures 1.77mm in diameter. It bends slightly before the break.

An incomplete copper-alloy 11th century Anglo-Scandinavian cheek piece from a bridle of Williams Type 1, one of an original pair which would have held between them the jointed iron bit for the horse to clench its teeth on, and possibly a pair with WILT-1E8370 discovered in the same field. It consists of most of the plate (max.4.75mm thick) and is missing the arm beyond its boss. It measures 44.74x55.17x7.89mm and weighs 31.9g. An incomplete cast copper alloy button brooch of Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) date (c. AD 450 - c. AD 550), missing its pin (althoguh there is a large amount of iron corrosion around the pin lug to the reverse). In plan, the brooch is circular and has an upturned rim giving the plate the depth of 3.68mm. The rim, with a few slight knocks, flares outwards at an angle of about 135°.The upper surface of the brooch is decorated with a central chip-carved anthropomorphic forward facing mask. The central element of the object (triangular in shape when viewed in profile) is probably a heavily stylized forward-facing zoomorphic head (or decoration derived thereof), as seen on BH-9BC397. A Late Early Medieval (1000-1100) simple zoomorphic stirrup terminal of Williams Group 4 (1997), measuring 34.33mm in length, max.11.43mm wide and 12.65mm deep. It weighs 12.05g and is cast copper alloy with traces of lead in the hollow reverse. The stirrup terminal is in the form of a beast's head with prominent curving brow ridge and jutting chin at the end of the muzzle. Extending backwards from the chin are nostrils or tusks. A probably Late Early-Medieval (1000-1100) strap union or junction, measuring 22.33x22.25x8.17mm and weighing 5.71g. The strap fitting is in the form of a cross, with a c.2.2-2.6mm diameter rivet hole at the end of each arm (c.2mm thick). The centre of the fitting is domed to the front (slightly faceted) and topped with a knop. To the reverse this section is concave. Much of the original patina is missing.

Surface metal analysis conducted at the British Museum indicated an approximate silver content for the brooch of 93%, the rest being copper, gold and lead. The shattered gem was identified by Raman spectroscopy as garnet. The brooch is mercury gilded with traces of niello decoration and weighs 4.28 grams. An incomplete Late Early-Medieval (1000-1100) copper alloy stirrup strap-mount of Williams' Class A Type 12, openwork version. It is missing most of the loop at the apex and part of the angled flange, both broken across the piercing. The diamond-shaped mount features eight circular bosses positioned centrally and at the junctions of cross and frame.
