A fragment of a lead striking of the dies for a penny of Cnut (1016-35), short cross type (c. AD1029-36; North 790), moneyer: uncertain, mint: London. Ref: North 1994: 168. The fragment is torn, partially folded (this does not appear to be a deliberate act, but probably occured post deposition) and incomplete with parts of the coin design missing. An incomplete early medieval sheet copper-alloy finger ring dating c. AD700-1050. The object is formed of a sheet of metal which tapers to a break at both ends. The wider central area of the body of the ring is decorated with three rows of punched ring-and-dot motifs. There is no bezel, the hoop widening gently from the breaks. The ring is now broken and folded.

A copper-alloy polyhedral-headed pin of Middle Anglo-Saxon date (c.AD650-850). The pin head is lozenge shaped with two flat faces and a small collar beneath. Each face is decorated with four small punched ring-and-dot decorative motifs, although these are hard to see owing to the surviving quality of the surface of the pin.

An early medieval silver penny of Æthelstan, king of England (924-36), circumscription cross type (North 672), mint: uncertain, moneyer: uncertain ([ ]EGNA[ ]). Ref: North 1994: 134-5. The coin is in poor condition, lacking most of the outer circle having broken away around the edge of the inner circle. The remaining flan shows signs of corrosion and is scratched in places. The fragment of reverse inscription may suggest the moneyer is Ragnald (York), Ragenold (Exeter) or Ragenward (Oxford).
