A gold early medieval finger ring of the Viking period (c. 1000-1100). The ring is made of a curved rod with a rectangular cross-section and bevelled edges. The rod is wider (c. 4 mm) at the centre and tapers to the back where the ends are drawn into wires (2 mm in diameter) which overlap and are wound once round each other. Overall, the ring has an external diameter of 24 mm and an internal diameter of 17 mm. It weighs 8.56 g. The hoop of the brooch is penannular and measures 24mm in diameter. The hoop is decorated with transverse ribs. Its terminals are polyhedral and each is decorated on at least one side with a ring-and-dot motif. The pin is circular in section and measures 34mm long and 2mm in diameter. The pin has a flat attachment loop and tapers to a point.

A body sherd from an early-medieval (AD c.500-c.600) vessel, possibly a cremation urn. The fabric is hard and black in colour with a slightly lighter core. There are frequent quartz and stone inclusions. Overall it measures 46.8mm in height, 39.5mm wide and 9.6mm thick. It weighs 18.02g. The outer surface is has two lines of stamped decoration. The first is a pattern of S-shapes formed from pairs of wavy lines with small stamped quadrilaterals between. The second is a pattern of stamped circles, each divided into nine segments.

The bead is bun-shaped with a piercing through the centre, sub-circular at one end and sub-rectangular with rounded ends at the other. It was discovered with a smaller glass bead (LIN-EF3703) inside it, which presumably came from the same necklace.

A copper alloy early-medieval to medieval (AD c.900-c.1500) probable mount. Overall, the mount measures 16.8mm long, 12.8mm wide and 12.7mm thick. It weighs 6.74g. The object is sub-pyramidal, with concave faces creating an X-shaped cross-section. The side edges are rounded and are decorated with diagonal grooves (mostly worn away). Each edge has a projecting knop at its lower corner. The top and bottom of the pyramid have iron corrosion on them, suggesting that an iron pin, rivet or nail passed through the centre of the object.

A fragment of a Roman to early-medieval (AD c.43-c.700) pair of tweezers, bent out of shape and missing one of its arms and its loop. Overall, the fragment measures 22.3mm long, 12.3mm wide and 15.1mm thick. It weighs 2.92g. The fragment is made from sheet copper alloy which is 1mm thick and tapers in width from 9.9mm at the gripping end to 4.7mm at the broken loop end. The gripping edge is bent downwards at 45 degrees. The fragment has been rolled into a C-shape and bent further at the loop end. The outer surface of the tweezers is decorated with two pairs of longitudinal grooved lines.

A fragment of a copper alloy early-medieval (AD c.500-c.600) cruciform brooch, missing its head and bow, its catchplate and part of the foot. It consists of only the half-round panel, the horse headed terminal and the spatulate extension from the brooch's foot. Overall, the fragment measures 31.1mm long, 11.1mm wide and 4.5mm thick. It weighs 4.53g. The fragment is corroded and many of the details have worn away. However, the outline of the horse's moulded nostrils and eyes are just visible.
