An incomplete copper-alloy pin of Early-Medieval date, c.AD 700 - 900. The pinhead is polyhedral, with faint ring and dot decoration visible on two of the main sides. The faceted sides of the pinhead are worn. From the base of the head a short length of straight circular sectioned shaft extends terminating in a worn break. A possible slight raised collar is present at the junction between the head and the shaft. The metal has a mid-brown patina and is worn. The spindle whorl appears undecorated. The metal has a mid-brown patina and is worn. The spindle whorl is 36.1mm in diameter, 8.1mm thick and weighs 36.8g. The upper surface has moulded decoration in the form of an anthropomorphic mask featuring raised circular knops representing eyes set below a prominent brow which extends between the eyes to form a triangular humanoid nose. An incomplete iron knife of possible Early-Medieval date, c.AD 500 - 1000. The blade is sub-triangular in both plan and section with a slightly angled back and curved cutting edge. One end displays a worn break and the opposite end has sloping shoulders to a narrower sub-ovate tang. The knife is extremely rusted, and the organic handle is missing. The object is 62.2mm long, 15.8mm wide, 6.8mm thick and weighs 10.7g.

The ceramic has been hard fired, has a hackly fracture and a rough feel. The vessel fragment is 34.9mm long, 17.2mm wide, 6.2mm thick and weighs 3.9g.

Only the plate remains which is formed of an elongated oval sheet of metal folded over at the midpoint to form upper and lower D-shaped plates.
