A middle to late Early-Medieval copper alloy strap-end circa late 8th century to 11th century. The strap end can be classified as Thomas, Type B1, with a split end, slightly tapering shaft, and transverse grooved decoration. The strap end has a wedged shaped split end with a fluted upper edge that has been slightly damaged. The front face has a circular perforation which is located slightly off centre and has pierced the upper edge of the strap end. An incomplete cast copper alloy stirrup-strap mount of early medieval date (AD 1000 - 1100) of Williams Class A, Type 9. The stirrup strap mount is broadly square in plan with a slight convex (domed) front and a concave rear face. It is probable that the mount would have originally had an apex loop protruding from the upper edge which has broken away. Early Anglo-Saxon copper-alloy supporting-arm brooch (or Stutzarmfibel) dating to c. 420-c. 480 AD. The head is an inverted triangle with an obliquely angled reverse, which has perforated terminals which would have supported the axis, spring and pin.
