An incomplete copper-alloy pin probably dating to the Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) period (AD 700-900). Around 50% of the pin is present, with just the head and part of the shaft. It comprises a globular spherical head decorated with deep spiralling grooves known informally as 'wrythen-headed'. The shaft projects from the base of the head.
