A bent and cracked medieval silver penny of Harold II (1066), PAX type (North 836). It was minted by Swetman at London.
Obverse show crowned head left with sceptre. Obverse legend reads +HAROLD REX ANG . Reverse shows PAX across field in between two lines. Reverse legend reads SPETMAN (or SVETMAN) ON LVND . Die axis is 9 o'clock. Weight is 1.25g, diameter is 19.7mm, thickness is 0.8mm.
